"Everything I do is intended for the client's best interest. My goal is to always listen to a client's problem and help resolve it. I enjoy assisting clients in identifying and creatively solving issues to make their jobs easier. The solution doesn't always involve technology. Sometimes it can be a simple change to a business process. The solution must also fit. What works well for one company may not work for another."

Rich Studer joined Moquist Thorvilson Kaufmann Kennedy & Pieper LLC in June of 2008. He has worked in the field for 16 years, beginning at a small CPA firm in the tax department. Rich also worked for a manufacturing company for four years as a staff accountant and accounting supervisor where he became interested in the technology behind debits and credits. Leveraging his accounting background and interest in technology, Rich moved into a career in consulting and spent the past 11 years performing accounting system implementations and related business consulting – part of that time for his own company.

"For me, the relationships are the most rewarding part of my job. I take great pride in the client relationships I have built and maintained."

Rich enjoys helping clients solve business issues by either altering the business processes or changing the technology. He also assists clients in determining what information is relevant and necessary to run their business and then how to efficiently deliver that information into the hands of decision makers. One of Rich’s strengths is integrating information between disparate systems.
