Becky began her career at Moquist Thorvilson Kaufmann Kennedy & Pieper LLC with an internship in 2004. She enjoyed the diversity of that experience, getting a chance to work in both the audit and tax departments over a three-month period.

"The hours were kind of long, but I really didn't mind it as I was having fun and learning a lot."

Becky was offered a full-time position in the auditing department and since that time has continued to grow and advance in her technical skills and leadership abilities, resulting in a promotion to audit manager in January 2009.

"I've always thought of myself as a creative person, however, I never knew just how important that skill would be as a CPA. As a manager in our assurance area, I regularly find myself relying on creative skills to design effective audit tests and solve complex problems. In my opinion, the difference between a really well designed and effective audit and an average audit is the creativity that’s invested in the planning stages of the assignment."

Interests and Activities

Becky is married and lives in Roseville. She volunteers on the finance counsel at her local church and also enjoys ultimate frisbee and playing volleyball with the Moquist Thorvilson Kaufmann Kennedy & Pieper LLC team.

Becky is also a winner of the "Betty Award" in 2007, an honor which recognizes outstanding performance at Moquist Thorvilson Kaufmann Kennedy & Pieper LLC.
