Sarah joined Moquist Thorvilson Kaufmann Kennedy & Pieper LLC as an intern in 2003. After successfully completing her internship, she was offered a full-time position in the firm's tax department. She works with individuals and business clients to navigate constant changes in the tax law, including the preparation and review of complex income tax returns. She also assists clients in the design and implementation of various tax and financial planning strategies, from business planning to estates and trusts.

Forging deep relationships with many of the firm's clients as well as her colleagues at Moquist Thorvilson Kaufmann Kennedy & Pieper LLC has been the most rewarding part of her work. She appreciates the firm's culture of teamwork and professionalism, and enjoys her involvement in training and guiding new employees.

Interests and Activities

Sarah and her husband enjoy biking around the lakes and trails of Minneapolis, cooking, gardening and spending time with extended family and friends. Sarah also volunteers as a board member for Women's Cancer Action.
