"My biggest sense of fulfillment comes from my clients and business associates. I have enjoyed being able to work with and assist others in understanding various concepts. I also really enjoy the people I work with at Moquist Thorvilson Kaufmann Kennedy & Pieper LLC. They're fun and bright. I can push numbers around all day, but it’s really the clients that I work for and the people I work with who keep me here."

Bill has had a wide range of experience in fields of accounting, business and law. His undergraduate degree is in English and he began his career as an attorney. Then he joined a large accounting firm that needed an attorney who specialized in tax. He passed the CPA exam and earned a master's degree in business taxation. He spent the next 10 years in the "Big Eight" environment. Bill has been with Moquist Thorvilson Kaufmann Kennedy & Pieper LLC for the past 22 years, working with closely-held businesses and individuals, specializing in business consultation with an emphasis on tax.

"I love what I do. My favorite part is coming up with creative but sustainable solutions to various tax problems. I enjoy dealing with research, negotiations and compliance issues."
